• NOFX, Papa Roach are signed names for the new Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 game.

• Slipknot have canceled there upcoming UK tour because of the safety issues concerning the current situation due to terrorism and recent scares in America.

• Wez Boreland leaves Limp Bizkit!! But fortunately the rest of the band are staying together, and they are currently holding auditions for a new guitarist, with there 4th album nearly completed.

• Kerrang Awards Manson's 'Holy wood' album beat Linkin Park's 'Hybrid Theory', Muse's 'Origin Of Symmetry' Tool's 'Lateralus' and Blink182's 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket' for the best album award. 
  Slipknot scooped the best band in the world award for the second year running.
  And Papa Roach crowned a remarkable 12 months by being rewarded with 2 awards, one of witch the best video award for 'Last Resort' You can watch the awards this Sunday on Channel 5 at 12:40pm till 1:40pm

• Slipknot fans in Banbury are being offered the chance to get a free copy of the band's new album 'Iowa', to celebrate the goat adorned album's release, staff at 'Record Savings' have announced anyone that brings a live goat to the shop on August 28 will receive a copy of 'Iowa' for free!!   

• Slipknot guitarist Mick Thompson has recorded an over-the-top Christmas song with Papa Roach front man Coby Dick and drummer Dave Buckner. Coby says " The songs called 'Christmas Foetus' and its for the (US radio network) K-ROQ'S Christmas soundtrack album. It's a death metal song with a break in the middle that's totally cheesy and korny. I sing a verse. Mick can f**kin' shred, man! We'll see who else in the Slipknot camp wants to get involved with it!" Mick, Coby and Dick recorded the song while on the US Ozzfest, in the back of Roach's tour bus. "We couldn't take a christmas song seriously," adds coby. "One line goes, 'Deck the halls with babies' guts!."

• Papa Roach have started recording for there second album. "it's hard and heavy," promises Coby. "It's really exciting. We've been playing the same songs for the last two years and we're ready for some new sh*t!"

• Linkin Park have announced the support bands for their UK dates. The nu-metal stars will be joined by Puddle of Mudd, Adema and hip-hop crew Dilated Peoples at Manchester Apollo September 15 and London Docklands Arena 16.

• Sum41 performed with ex-Judas priest man Rob Halford at the MTV's 20th anniversary.

• Alien Ant Farm's new video is a bizarre tribute to the videos of Michael Jackson himslef. Despite their relatively respectful rendition of Jako's song, the band appear to be taking the piss ever-so-slightly. However, we are assured that no chimps were harmed during filming. 'Smooth Criminal' will be released as a single on September 17 through Polydor.

• "It's good clean fun!" Less Than Jake's Pez fascination revealed!!-the small square pieces of candy that come in a range of dispensers featuring the heads of cartoon characters. The band have released albums entitles 'Pezcore' and 'The Pez Collection' and Roger and Vinnie went as far as having Pez tattoo's!!! They have a pez collection in the excess of \$3,000!!
